Our Story

When tech disappears, Majik happens.

One of the longest established smart home specialists in the country.

Founded in 1998 by Tim and Carol Burrow, Majik House has spent more than twenty-five years making technology feel like part of the house rather than an addition to it. From its base at Gatebeck, near Kendal, the team designs cinema rooms, intelligent lighting, audio, security and whole home control systems for prestigious projects across the North West, Lancashire, Cheshire, Manchester, Cumbria and the Lake District.

Every system is designed in from the first sketch, working hand in hand with architects, interior designers and builders so that screens, speakers and switches serve the room quietly or vanish from it altogether. CEDIA certification sets the standard for every engineer on every install.

Still family run and still guided by the people who founded it, Majik House brought its craft to House of Carvetii in 2025 the element of intelligence in a house built on four.
